Been very interesting week in New Zealand Racing Winston Peters Minister of Racing giving a lifeline then RITA reducing on course operators talk of no Newspaper coverage of race fields and weekly Racing Form Guide Raceform I believe we need form guide and fields in daily newspapers we need increased turnover.
Closing of racetracks has been an ongoing SAGA namely Avondale my opinion the track is fantastic yes facilities are terrible had it been used differently also they were very innovative with Night Racing maybe they were 30 years ahead of others Avondale could have had a future RITA want the track to be sold and the money spent on STAKES infrastructure Avondale Jockey club looking likely they will fight I'm hoping they see things in a different direction I will always remember some great times at Avondale.
